Flag of France

The French flag consists of a vertical triband of blue, white, and red. Blue and red and traditional colors of Paris, blue representing Saint Martin and red representing Saint Denis. The color white represents the Virgin Mary and Joan of Arc. This flag was used from 1794 to 1815 and was re-adopted in July of 1830.
