The flag of the United Kingdoms of Sweden and Norway consists of a combination Norwegian and Swedish flags. The flag is divided into quarters, with two non-adjacent parts going to each country. It was a symbol of the unity between the two countries and was inserted into the upper left corner of both countries’ flags from 1844 until 1899.
