The flag of Dutch constituent country of Curaçao consists of a blue field with two white five-point stars in the top left corner and a horizontal yellow stripe across a portion of the bottom, with the blue field both below and above it. The blue above the yellow stripe represents the sky, the blue below the yellow stripe represents the ocean, the yellow stripe represents the sun and the island, the two stars represent the two islands that make up Curaçao, and the five points on each star represents the five continents from which the people of Curaçao came from. This flag was adopted on July 2nd, 1984.
