The flag of the US territory of Puerto Rico consists of fives stripes of red and white with white five-point star on a blue triangle on the left. The three red stripes represent the blood of those fallen, the two white stripes represent peace and victory, the white star represents the island of Puerto Rico, blue represents the ocean, and the triangle represents the three branches of government. This flag was adopted in 1952.
