Flag of Estonia

by Roland Smoker | Jul 27, 2017

The Estonian flag consists of a horizontal triband of blue, black, and white. Blue represents freedom and the sky, black represents soil and lost independence, and white represents commitment and the pursuit of a bright future. This flag was first used from 1918 to 1940 and was again adopted on August 7th 1990.
