The flag of the Federated States of Micronesia consists of four stars in the shape of a diamond on blue background. The blue background represent the Pacific ocean and the four stars represent each state of the country: Chuuk, Kosrae, Pohnpei, and Yap. This flag was adopted on November 30th, 1978.
