The flag of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines consist of an uneven vertical triband of blue, yellow, and green with three green diamonds in the center. The middle yellow band is twice the width of the blue and green bands and three diamonds are in the center are in the shape of a V, for Vincent. The use of green diamonds represents the country being the gems of the Antilles, while blue represents the sky and water, yellow represents the sands of the Grenadines, and green represents the island countries’ vegetation. This flag was adopted on October 21st, 1985.
